Do you like to read inspirational sayings and quotes? Do they make you feel good and give you a positive frame of mind? Do they make you feel “ready to go” and motivated to do great things with your life? Do you actually do these great things with your life?
Obviously, the most important question above is the last one. You can read all the inspirational sayings and motivational quotes in the world, but if you do not do anything with them they do not mean a thing.
Let me add that I love reading quotes. I love inspiration. I look for motivation anywhere I can find it. There’s some really good stuff out there, and, thanks to the internet, you can get inspiration in front of your eyes from thousands of successful people in a matter of seconds. I even created my own motivational website.
But none of it is useful unless you use it. Inspirational sayings are not inspirational unless you are actually inspired to take action. Without you change something about your life, these sayings inspire nothing.
Inspirational quotes without action are a waste of time. And this is the opposite of there intention.
So it is my challenge to you today to find a few inspirational quotes and then act upon them. Feel the inspiration and use it to create positive change in your life. Take a step towards your happiness. Allow your happiness to fill your world. Allow the motivation to propel you to great things.
In fact, I’ll give you a few sayings to get you started:
“If you do not like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.” -Dolly Parton
Do not just think about making changes in your life; make them. You have a special ability to change your direction at any time. You choose the path you go down in life. You choose your final destination. If you do not like where things are headed, start following a different path.
“Either you run the day or the day runs you.” -Jim Rohn
You control your day one way or another. Either you take it by the reigns or you let it run its course. If you want to get something out of your day, I suggest the former. If you take the latter route, do not complain if things do not go your way.
“You must do the thing which you think you can not do.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
Only you have the power to limit your capabilities. You have the potential to do amazing things, some of which you do not even realize are within your ability. You never know what you can do until you try things you think you can not do.
What do these three inspirational quotes have in common? They all encourage you to take action. They all preach that you need to take control of your own life and start living it the way you want to live. You must do the things you need to do to get the things you want.
Life is about doing. Life is about living. You are either going to live your life or simply survive and pass time. The choice is yours.
In the end, after reading all the inspiration and motivation you can handle, it is you who must inspire and motivate yourself.
Motivate yourself to greatness!
